Approximately forty motorcycles were on display at the show.
The swap meet, although sparsely attended, did have a few rare items available
for purchase. I found an early brass Klaxon horn which will be added to my 1904
Cameron project and a set of vintage motorcycle tires for another restoration
project. It was nice to see new faces and like-minded collectors along with
many of our old friends who attend other swap meets and shows.
Our two bikes drew lots of attention and the 1908 "Strap Tank" was
awarded first place. A
beautifully restored fifties Pan Head took Best Of Show honors. I do believe
this event shows lots of potential and may become a must go to show from here
on.
